The European Commission has earmarked £3.22 billion in funding through its Innovation Fund for projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and expanding clean power component production.

Together, they aim to create a comprehensive carbon capture and storage offering for industrial CO2 emitters in Northern Europe, marking a significant step towards decarbonization efforts.
